i agree. sparta is awesome, very good, i saw them live they were amazing but mars volta just has that edge that special thing. I never heard anything like them. both are great bands however and i will support both of them.

yeah gigwise im likeing sparta more, as they have played near me twice, where as mars volta have been on where near me.

Eh. There isn't really anything remarkable about Sparta.
And I think it's pretty retarded to think that it was just Omar and Cedric who carried At the drive-in--i'm pretty sure they would tell you that's wrong too.

Christ, it's not just Cedric and Omar that put something special in ATDI, and it's not just them that put something special in TMV. They were just 70-80% of the specialness in ATDI. And another reason why Sparta isn't as good as either TMV or ATDI is because their name can't be said with a cool acronym. What the hell is that?! They're going to make us say the whole name?!

dont diss the only good part of sparta. tony good dummer?... wow... never wouldve thought i think he seems like a nice guy... but thats doesnt matter i think jim has a good style, but he cant be the MAIN attraction... i thought he did cool in atdi... but not by himself. paul... brontosaurus
