I hate to use this example, but the part in One Armed Scissor right after "I write to remember", and the subsequent riffage and drumming that transition into the chorus.

19:07 in storm, godspeed of course. i mean.... the whole beginning of the song is jesus, but 19:07 for some reason makes me love the songso much more.

oh man there are too many...
near the end of "for martha" by smashing pumpkins there is this one part with a guitar that goes down followed by billy singing something... that doesnt describe anything but oh well
i hate the rest of the song but that one part is awesome
oh yeah and the ending to "you're the good things" by modest mouse. the rest of the song is eh but that ending is so cool

Fugazi - Epic problem
from 02:11 and on.. it's such a contrast to the start/stop scheme of the beginning of the song..
but especially 02:57 where Ian sings "I've got this epic problem, this epic problem's not a problem for me" and how it builds up after that.
I really like the "never mind what's been selling, it's what you're buying" part in Blueprint, too.
the wonderful thing with the mars volta is that almost every second of their songs is wonderful..

the last four lines of "crime" by stina nordenstam, totally heartbreaking... the last like 15 seconds of "a beautiful shape" by six by seven, where the drums kick in - really infuriating cos it just starts to get really really fucking good and then the song stops  and the theremin-stylee part of "i'll still write" by the cooper temple clause. reduces me to jelly every time. o o o <><...
