The best shows I've been to are
Tool - Saw em twice, both times just absolutely amazing.. never miss a Tool show
Pearl Jam - Seen 'em three times, always a good show.. last time i was as far back as possible (on the back wall of the Key Arena) and it was still amazing
Beck/Flaming Lips - Flaming lips hands down stole the show.. extremely entertaining.. and beck probably would have been really good on his own, but adding the Flaming Lips as backup made it exponentially better
Incubus - Cool show.. I hope to see em again on Lollapalooza
Peter Gabriel - One of the best shows visually and musically I've ever seen. I took my Dad to Tool, so he took me to Peter Gabriel.. we both really enjoyed both shows

At the Drive-in/Rage Against the Machine Anatomy of a Ghost Coheed and Cambria (sure they didn't move much [except when they would do a break down], but they're one of my favorite bands right now, and their song-writing is spectacular) Cursive Bright Eyes And hopefully The Mars Volta in the future. (i know they'll be good)

i've seen incubus a couple times...i didnt like them that much...i guess you have to be a big fan to enjoy their show...really, i could care less about their new songs...the bassist does almost nothing compared to what he used to do when they were more funk...the band would be an awesome band if they took the singer out...or brought the "Enjoy Incubus" era version of him back...azwethinkweiz is the best song from them...wish they played it live
but seriously, even my friend who is a huge fan agrees that they arent great live...
paul oakenfold is amazing...saw him two days in a row at the HFStival in DC...Timo Maas is amazing too...

At-The Drive In/Rage Against the Machine- @ the Roxy (approx. 200 people attending) probably the 2 most energetic live bands
At -the Drive In - The Attic, El Paso Texas. First time I was ever blown away by a band in my life, 1992
Todos Tus Muertos - Argentine punk/dub/reggae played for 4 1/2 hours at full speed, blew everyone away.
Beck/Red Hot Chilli Peppers/Jaguares/Jurassic 5 - backyard fundraiser for a local clinic..I think the open bar made it that much better
Sparta - first ever show - Wildhares, El Paso Texas.
Mars Volta - every single show, especially their 1st ever show, Anaheim, CA, I realized that they were giong to go down in history
Rage Against the Machine - Last ever show, Olympuc Auditorium, Los Angeles, CA (followed by their performance at the Democratic Convention)
honorable mention: Incubus...not a fan of their music, but the flew my co-workers and myself to the Bahamas to shoot a concert. Very cool guys..
