i think the point he was trying to make is that the war, and the death that comes with it, is stupid and not worth it.

moreso than saying "hey guys, let's enlist so we can kill some iraqis! we'll get points for each mother and child we can rack up..but you have to take a picture to prove it." free speech, man...oh, wait, i forgot this was a message board..in that case, shut the fuck up.

moreso than saying "hey guys, let's enlist so we can kill some iraqis! we'll get points for each mother and child we can rack up..but you have to take a picture to prove it." man that was ignorant, do you really think thats what soldiers think even if not to that degree of stupidity? that they are... god i'm not even gonna go on, that was just a horrilbe, unnessacary comment i don't know if this was directing at me or not, but i just wanna say that its not what i was trying to say at all. it's just that we've had really long arguments about this already and with a growing number of members each day it becomes harder and harder to get your point across clearly. i would love to talk about the war more but this board has got increasingly less personal which makes it very hard to have a disscussion about something that carries so much prejudice, passion, anger, etc.

I disagree. What is a "prejudice" when talking about war? Its a "prejudice" to think civilians should not be harmed? I think what is going on is the most brutal stuf that could have happened. Where do you see the "weapons of massive destruction"? how many bombs have fallen on the cities that where supposed to be freed? I think its a big bullshit, and that the media and gov are severily underestimating the intelligence of the audience with thier biasing and euphemism
And please dont answer with "fucks"

I think its a big bullshit, and that the media and gov are severily underestimating the intelligence of the audience with thier biasing and euphemism And please dont answer with "fucks" alright, i'll talk to YOU about this, and none of you other "fucks" better interupt me besides berimbao a prejudice is anything that is already associated with that persons arguments, opinions, and judgements. and no, nobody thinks killing innocent civilians is good, ok? don't degrade me, cause i'll get pissed. what i'm talking about when i say prejudice is when someone will no matter what go against whatever the U.S. is doing at that present time, that bush is a stupid man, that the U.S. is doing this to only "liberate" the iraqi people - any of those types of things mess up conversations on this board and ya, of course the media is bias during war time, every country that is involved in war needs the support of its people to sucessfully, and ya, that sucks, but its just the way it is, and its gotten better since ww1 and ww2 and those types of wars. i DO see pictures of iraqi's being killed and reports of bombing in residental areas, and so forth, so i don't think we are totally sheltered here either. and about the war in general- you know what i think is brutal stuff? is the warehouses filled with dead bodies found in iraq, the secret police stations found with torture chambers that have been going for 30 years, iraqi soldiers holding women and children hostages to force the males to fight, the video taping of the mutalation of our soldiers dead bodies, all the shit iraq is and has been pulling is what i think is brutal and morally wrong. whether the U.S. is doing this war for the most noble of reasons or not, i'm happy cause an evil man is getting killed for all the death and pain he has caused in his life time, and i'm sad that iraq civilians are dying, but in wars or revolutions their are casualities, and the u.s. is doing so much to try to not kill civilians, this war would probably be over by now if we had no regard for the iraqi civilians, sorry if i didn't answer your question, it was kind of unclear
