I'm going to have to echo the electronic music voices on this board--cause half the music recommended here is that same ol' indie rock, post-punk, whatever the fuck you call it type of music.
Even if you don't like electronic music you'll definitely like either Boards of Canada - Music has the rights to children or Geogaddi.
Squarepusher - Hard Normal Daddy ...it's actually hard to recommend a Squarepusher album... "Music is one rotted note" if you want an electronic album full of live jazz played by an electronic musician. WHat?

ah thanks for catching my mistake, but yea JR Ewing is a great fucking band. if you havent checked out there live show you MUST. i remember talking to cedric after JR's set at the Troubadour and even he was really impressed.
