This year's Plea for Peace tour (the Kansas City stop). Pathetic. International Noise Conspiracy had to bow out because their drummer hurt his back. Jimmy Eat World played acoustic (thank God I missed that). The Lawrence Arms are indie-emo-pretend-pop punk and no one danced to them. I felt a little sorry for them, but they bombed. So did Common Rider. They were ska, hip-hop, punk that sounded like 50 other bands, but worse. I enjoyed Jessie Michael's dancing, but that was it. Posin the Well was alright, but too metal for my tastes. We left before The Promise Ring played. Hell, even the Plea For Peace: Take Action 2 Cd was a piece of crap. I would rather just given the organization the $2 I paid and let them keep the CD. Thinking back, I have no fucking clue why I even went to this show. The Lawrence Arms are from here (Chicago). Tons of people love them, but I just don't see it. They opened for The Anniversary a few years ago, and I thought they would NEVER get off the stage. Jock "punk." Ew.

Last year I saw Lagwagon..... that was so disappointing. I didnĀ“t think that they would be so bad live... And the worst thing was : Freeway, the band of a very good friend of mine but the worst coverband I have ever seen ( and I have seen too many bad coverbands!!!) !

acid mothers temple is probably the worst show i've ever been to. i tried to approach it with an open mind, but there's only so far my mind can open, and they overstepped the mark by a long, long way.

pretty much every local show ive gone too is bad
definately every warped tour is bad and made me regret waking up so early to get there when the first bands went on...the only funny thing i remember that was great was seeing afi play in like 100 degree weather in the sun and they were decked out in the black gothy wear which was amusing...that and the lead singer in from autumn to ashes punched my friend square in the nose
and the lawrence arms at plea for peace were fucking horrid...the rest of the bands were good tho...especially shai hulud mmmmmm

i saw meshuggah as an opener to a show..and snake river conspiracy as a different opener..words cannot explain how much they sucked. they're likely better on the album..but man, it sucked so damn much, i don't want to try and download anything.
speaking of stp, scott weiland decided to flash his package to the crowd when i was at a random festival concert in indianapolis...he liked being arrested..the drunk/high fuck.

really? i saw them last year for the first time and was seriously impressed. d'u like em though? as in, was it for you a bad show by a good band, or a show by a band you don't like? i've seen many bad gigs. the worst that springs to mind right now was audioslave at the astoria. massively, MASSIVELY disappointing. guess i expected too much. they were just lame. o o o <><... Gen good band, bad show. i enjoy their music but the show i saw was just disappointing, i expected a lot better.

The worst show I was ever at was Edgefest II. Wow. I didn't know I could hate any type of music as much as I do ska. The only reason I bought the ticket (for 20 instead of 40 from a scalper, that was the best part of the day) was to see Matt Good but the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Fishbone, the Planet Smashers, and a bunch of other shitty ska bands played before him. It blew.
Then Matt played and it kicked.

Black Dice opening for godspeed was particularly mind-numbing. There was a point where three of the four band members were just sustaining this ear-piercing high pitch drone while the drummed masturbated. WTF

I went with a friend one to see Less Than Jake and Newfound Glory. Newfound Glory were AWFUL. Frat boy punk? What? ...and the only thing that made Less Than Jake interesting at all was the guy in the gorilla mask dancing around. ...I have a friend who likes "angry grrrl" music, so she basically likes ANY girl band, regardless of how bad they suck. I wanted to shoot myself in the foot during just about every show she dragged me along to. angry girl bands are soooooooo annoying...and they suck live...I can't stand them...
