try 'meddle' or 'obscured by clouds', or even dark side of the moon
all by pink floyd of course. definitely meddle though. just check out the song 'seamus'. classic
or try led zeppelin's third album

Try some Gomez from "Liquid Skin". I don't like much of their other material. i'll second that. and the john butler trio recommendation. and i'd add jack johnsons' 'brushfire fairytales', everyone likes that CD that i've talked to; it's not mnd lowing but it's chilled catchy and doesn't get tired. the white stripes are good, but not often mellow.
